Hechtviertel Adventskalenders 2021

Dec. 10, 2021, 8 p.m. - Dec. 10, 2021, 11 p.m.
Dresden Priority Hub

As part of the Hechtviertel Adventskalender 2021, Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. invites you to an art auction at the Full Moon Gallery on 10 December. Starting at 8 pm, you can purchase selected works of art by local and international artists at special prices while enjoying a glass of wine and other delicious beverages. During the auction, unique works of art will go under the hammer and will be presented in a cheeky and frivolous way by the Dresden artist and DJ NimasterBlaster, who will also turn the turntables afterwards and guarantee a big party. NimasterBlaster is the Iranian artist Nima Emami, who was born and raised in Germany. He has lived in many places and travelled to many countries around the world. Nima Emami expresses the diversity of his experiences mainly through drawing and painting, but also with the help of other media, such as his experimental DJ performances. With "NimasterBlaster's Ashramdisco" he tries to build a spiritual bridge between slow ethno music and massive disco tracks from all over the world. The inclined audience may not only meditate to this, but above all swing their hips to the beats.

Support your local artists - Christmas Market

Dec. 3, 2021, 8 p.m. - Dec. 3, 2021, 11 p.m.
Dresden Priority Hub

During the Christmas season, the little Christmas' elves will again ensure that unique works of art by various local artists are displayed in the gallery windows of the Full Moon Gallery day and night. The works of art are illuminated from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. On December 3rd, 2021 at 8 p.m. the vernissage of the exhibition will take place, at which the artists will be present. This is exactly the moment when it will be possible to start a conversation with them and, when buying a work of art, also get the thoughts of the artists about giving art as a Christmas present.

Nov. 19, 2021, 8 p.m. - Dec. 2, 2021, midnight
Full Moon Galery, Dresden Priority Hub

Just in time for the full moon in november, Hans-Jürgen Andersen celebrates the vernissage of his exhibition „Faszination des Seins und des Göttlichen“. He will present a selection of his painting-graphic collages at the Full Moon Gallery on 19 November 2021. The painter himself will accompany the evening musically on the guitar with self composed songs. Born in 1949, the poet, composer and painter graduated from the Dresden Academy of Music in 1975. In the same year he also began working as a freelance musician. He has been a member of the Künstlerbund Dresden e.V. since 2002. In the course of his work as a songwriter, Hans-Jürgen Andersen realised that not all his feelings and illusions could be captured in sound and words. So over time he developed into a two-way artist and devoted himself more and more to painting. With his unique technique, he brings life out of the most diverse materials. His fascination with being and the divine is poetically mirrored in his paintings. www.hja-kunst.de

Oct. 21, 2021, 8 p.m. - Nov. 11, 2021, 8 p.m.
Full Moon Galery, Dresden Priority Hub

Vernissage 20.10.2021 / 20:00 Peter Koch originally comes from the Baltic Sea and has been living in Dresden as a freelance artist for over 30 years. He moves very virtuously between painting and music. He enjoys every moment in which he can express his feelings through creativity. During his studies, he established contact with some well-known artists of the GDR such as Dieter Weidenbach, Horst Peter Meyer and Joachim Kuhlmann in order to learn from them. He concentrated on maritime impressions and moments of village life. Peter Koch loves aesthetics, likes to live and work by instinct and has developed a penchant for experimentation in recent years. The opening of the exhibition will also be the record release party for his new CD “KAPRIOLEN”.
